Tyler Osik Puts Pro Career on Hold

Tyler Osik was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 40th round of the 2017 MLB Draft.  However, he chose not to sign at this time, instead deciding to continue his collegiate career at Division I Central Florida.  Most recently, he played for Chipola College.

Tyler has worn the Pirates uniform before, when his father, Keith Osik, was a catcher for the big-league Pirates.  Keith spent 10 major-league seasons from 1996 to 2001.

Tyler is aiming to get another chance at pro baseball.
