The Jhonatan and Donovan Solano have played on the same major-league team once before, as members of the Miami Marlins in 2015. Now they find themselves playing on the same team again, except it is on the international stage with Team Columbia in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
Donovan is an infielder who played nine games with the New York Yankees in 2016. He will be starting his sixth season in the majors this year. He previously spent four season with the Miami Marlins.
Jhonatan, a catcher, is currently playing in the Washington Nationals organization. He has three major-league seasons under his belt.
