Baseball HOFer Barry Larkin Has Son With NBA Celtics

Barry Larkin is synonymous with Cincinnati Reds major-league baseball.  The 19-year former player was an 11-time all-star and winner of multiple Silver Slugger and Gold Glove Awards.  He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.

Larkin didn’t push his son Shane to follow in his footsteps, and ultimately Shane chose basketball as his career profession.  He is currently in his fourth NBA season as a backup point guard with the Boston Celtics.
