Long-time Clubhouse Manager Bernie Stowe Dies at 80

Bernie Stowe began working with the Cincinnati Reds in 1947, eventually became the clubhouse manager, and finally retired in 2013.  He recently passed away at age 80.  Bernie was like a father-figure to many of the Reds players over the years.

Bernie’s two sons also worked with him for the Reds organization.  Mark, who began in 1975, is currently the visiting clubhouse manager for the Reds, while Rick is currently the home clubhouse manager, having started in 1981.
