Sarah Hudek Competed Against Female Competition for First Time

Sarah Hudek captured national attention earlier this year when she signed with Bossier Parish Community College in Louisiana to play on the men’s baseball team for the 2015-2016 season.

Last summer she competed against females on the baseball diamond for the first time when she pitched for USA Baseball Women’s National Team in the Women’s Baseball World Cup.  This summer she represented the Team USA women’s team entry in the Pan American Games in Canada.

Sarah has set her sights on playing college baseball at the Division I level.  Bossier, which has been a hotbed for major league signees in the past, may offer her the path to reach that goal.

Sarah is the daughter of former major league pitcher John Hudek, who played from 1994 to 1999.
