Jean Faut, now 90 years of age, was one the stars of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League of the 1940s and early 1950s. She was the league’s Player of the Year in two out of the ten seasons the award was given. A pitcher, she tossed two no-hitters and two of the five perfect games thrown in the history of the league.
She was married to Karl Winsch, who pitched for three seasons in the Philadelphia Phillies organization in the early 1940s. He won 15 out of his 35 career decisions.
