Pat Borders Back in Baseball After 10-Year Absence

Pat Borders enjoyed a seventeen-year career in the majors that included two World Series championships, a World Series MVP trophy, and over 1,000 games played as a catcher.

Now, Borders is back in baseball, after a ten year absence, as the manager of the Williamsport Crosscutters, a short-season Single-A club in the Phillies organization.

During his time out of baseball, Borders watched his sons grow up, and now they are pursuing baseball careers themselves.  Son Levi was a junior catcher this season for the University of South Florida, while son Luke was a sophomore infielder/outfielder for USF.
