Matt Clark’s path to his Major League debut this season with the Milwaukee Brewers took many turns. He attended several colleges before being selected in the 12th round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres. He then played in three different minor league organizations and in Japan before getting his shot in the big leagues this season.
Matt’s father, Terry, was a six-year veteran of the major leagues from 1988 to 1997. Terry’s own career included stints with seven different major league teams in those six seasons.
