Nearing the one-year anniversary date of his father’s death, closer Huston Street of the Los Angeles Angels says his father was his hero.
James Street was a college star as both a quarterback and pitcher for the University of Texas. He played in three College World Series and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 31st round of the 1970 MLB Draft.
Huston says his father was his best teacher at life, business and sports.
