Huston Street’ Father Still Inspires Him

Huston Street, Los Angeles Angels closer, lost his father near the end of the 2013 season, and he is still devastated by the loss. After all, his father James Street was his hero, the person he was closest to. James had been a star football and baseball player at the University of Texas, who was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 1970 draft but never played professional baseball. Huston says he plays to win as his father defined it, “being the best you can be.”
