Dillon Moyer is in his second professional season in the Dodgers organization after being drafted in the 38th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. The shortstop is the son of Jamie Moyer who pitched for 25 seasons in the big leagues, finishing his career in 2012 at age 49.
Dillon can’t recall not being around baseball, spending time with his father during spring training and moving around the country as his father played in eight major league cities.
Dillon has a younger brother, Hunter, at Pepperdine University, who is draft eligible in 2015.
