Kevin Gregg Saw Baseball From A Unique Point Of View

Kevin Gregg is currently the media relations director for the Boston Red Sox. He experienced major league baseball through his father’s experiences, which occurred on the baseball field, not as a player, but an umpire.

Kevin’s father was Eric Gregg, a major league umpire for 25 years. He worked the 1989 World Series, four championship series, two division series and one All-Star game. Eric died in 2006 at 55 years old.

Kevin was able to travel with his father during the summer months and now carries on his father’s passion for the game in a front-office capacity.
