Gillaspie Brothers Are Making Headlines

Casey Gillaspie was selected in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He was the 20th overall selection of the draft. He just finished a fine college career at Wichita State. He hopes to join his brother Conor in the big leagues soon. Conor is in his fifth major league season, playing third base for the Chicago White Sox.

Their father, Mark, was a minor league player from 1981-1989, having never played in the majors. He was an All-American at Mississippi State.
