Garin Cecchini, a hot third base prospect in the Boston Red Sox organization, got his baseball schooling from both this father and mother. Growing up in Lake Charles, LA, Garin played for high school powerhouse Barbe High School, where his father Glenn was head coach and his mother Raissa was an assistant. Even as a smaller child, both of his parents were influential in teaching him the game of baseball. Garin has a brother, Gavin, who was a first-round pick of the New York Mets in 2012. You can bet Mom and Pop Cecchini are looking forward to the day when both sons are in the big leagues!
