Brian McCann Was Taught The Game The Right Way By His Father

The new catcher of the New York Yankees, Brian McCann, was likened to former Yankee legendary backstop Thurman Munson at a recent Yankees organizational meeting. The compliment made Brian’s father Howie very proud, since he had coached Brian to play the game the right way.

Howie McCann was a college coach at Georgia and Marshall and had another son, Brad, who also played in the minor leagues.
