Zach Wheeler, the 23-year-old phenom pitcher for the New York Mets, has taken advantage of his older brothers’ advice in pursuing his own career. Jacob and Adam Wheeler were both baseball players, with Adam playing in the Yankees organization before his career was sidelined with injuries. Adam passed on to Zach his knowledge of such things as how to act like a professional and how to conduct himself in the clubhouse. From Jacob, who had been a high school pitcher before a heart condition forced him to quit, Zach learned to never take anything for granted.
