Matt Merullo Brings Family History to Orioles Farm Club

Former Major League player Matt Merullo is currently the manager for the Single-A Aberdeen club of the Baltimore Orioles organization. His father, Leonard, played in the Pirates organization in the 1960s, while his grandfather, Lennie played in the Majors from 1941 to 1947 and was later a Major League scout.

See attached article about Matt Merullo at http://www.masnports.com:

The Merullos are one of several three-generation families in professional baseball, where two of the three generations played in the Major Leagues. A list of these families is contained in my book, Family Ties: A Comprehensive Collection of Facts and Trivia About Baseball’s Relatives. The book can be purchased at http://thetenthinning.com/store.html.
